working solutions with home working options or remote working.

Last year Dean Rhodes-Brandon, Carshalton,
Surrey won the BT Home Business Award. Dean’s company
yourlocalcinema.com is a cinema-listings service for subtitled and
audio-described (narrated) cinema releases and shows, for people with hearing or
visual problems.
Dean is profoundly deaf and corresponds almost entirely by

The BT Home Business Award
The winner of this award will receive BT products and services to the value of £1000!
Award Criteria: Anyone running a Home Business, large or small
You will need to show the judges the following:
1. Demonstrate Your Home Based Business.
* What does your business do? When did your business start up? What is innovative or unique about your home based business? Give an example of a challenge you have had to overcome to get your business started.
2. Why should you be Home Business of the Year?
* Why does your business deserve to win the BT Home Business Award?
* What impact have you made on commerce or customers?
* What technology are you using to support your home business or remote-working employees?
3. Your Home Business in Action.
* How many employees do you have?
* What percentage are home or remote workers?
"Describe how being a home-based business has helped you reduce your
carbon footprint. Supply any metrics to support your achievements."
* What is the biggest impact remote or home working had on your
business? Please give details of why you feel you have the most
engaging home business.
